Your place is in your blood. It's more than a business, and it shows in the way you talk about your history
there, your town, and your land. There is a combination of not only excellent hunting, but also the kind of generous
hospitality that's hard to find these days. I immediately felt at home. I took away with me a desire to return,
and stories that will carry me for quite some time.
Thanks for everything,

It
was with some trepidation that I took three avid hunting buddies on an eight hour drive to hunt quail in Georgia. My
concern was that Pope Plantation is owned and operated by my first cousin, Pembroke Pope, and if the experience didn't meet
expectations I would be blamed for their waste of time and money. I should have known better than to worry. Pembroke
was truly hospitable and attentive to our needs and his hunting preserve is spectacular. Amoung his 750 acre is a 17
acre pine forest carefully cleared to make for great shooting. The abandoned pecan orchard was also a special terrain
for quail hunting and gave us many scenic photographs of our dogs on points. We were very comfortable in the Lodge which
has two wood fireplaces, one in the kitchen where we cooked and ate our own breakfasts each morning. Drinks and Pembroke's
story telling on the porch made for the perfect setting. If you are looking for a memorable hunt, let my cousin welcome
you to Pope Plantation and all of the charm of rural Georgia.

Just wanted to say thank you for your hospitality and successful hunt that you provided us. We have
been avid hunters for the last 20 years and have been on several guided hunts. The experience that the Pope Plantation
Provided was one to remember. We look forward to returning next year and making this a yearly event. I have always
heard about Southern Hospitality and Pope Plantation and its employees define it.

Me and my dad hunt at Pope Plantation all the time it is a great place
to
hunt, the hospitality is great, the lodging is great but the hunting is the best. There is great deer action for fall
hunting. The quail hunting is the funnest with some challenging places that are in the forest, and easy open fields
for more of beginners. It's still a lot of fun whether its quail or deer that you hunt.
